Soil and drainage in Florida
Where a property has no low point at all, the design changes from moving water to managing it. That means shallow surface storage sized to the roof and drive area it serves, an overflow path that fails safely, and planting that tolerates standing water for a day or two. Material should be selected by pavement temperature and applied at calibrated rates — over-salting damages concrete, kills the turf edge along drives and costs money for no benefit.
